💜💛💫Glamglow Instamud 60-second pore-refining treatment review💫💛💜
The Glamglow brand recently caught my attention due to it’s rising popularity and the bright, colourful and catchy packaging of their products.
The brand was initially founded exclusively for backstage and professional use in Hollywood’s Entertainment, Music, Fashion and Award industry, but was made available for retail in 2011. Since then, it became globally recognized for their fast acting innovative mud treatments that deliver instant, visible results.
Enlarged pores and uneven skin texture are my biggest skin concerns, so Instamud treatment was an obvious choice for me as a first product to try from the brand.
The treatment is a foaming mask that claims to refine pores and even skin tone in as little as 60 seconds.
⭐️Key ingredients:
💜 Bentonite + Kaolin Clay - refine pores, detoxify, absorbing excess of sebum
💜 Witch Hazel - toning, pore tightening and anti inflammatory properties
💜 Aloe Vera - provides skin soothing benefits
💜 Licorice root - helps with hyperpigmentation, evens skin tone and boosts overall luminosity
💛My experience💛
It is definitely a fun product to use! It has nice creamy texture that is easy spreadable, smells nice and has very pretty lavender colour! The mask immediately activates into microbabbles on contact and creates light foamy cushion on the skin. It does create mild oxygenating tingling which is actually pretty pleasant. The foam starts to dry up pretty quick, but with a bit of water it’s leathering nicely on the face and rinses off easily. My skin does feel refreshed, clean and soft after using it.
However, I don’t think it makes any difference in appearance of my pores… The results are similar with the ones simple clay mask would give - absorbing excess of sebum from the surface of the skin, temporarily making pores appear smaller. The main ingredient are actually clays, so is basically a fancy form of a clay mask! However, it does work faster, is more pleasant to use and is not as drying.
It is quite pricey on my opinion (44USD for 50ml bottle), so I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing, though I did enjoy the fun experience using it!
