Oil to Milk Cleanser

product review positives
CLAIMS An oil cleanser that transforms into milk when in contact with water, leaving your skin soft, replenished, and clean. •Gentle •Non-stripping •Slightly acidic pH balance to help replenish the skins barrier STAND OUT INGREDIENTS 🌻 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗶𝗹 💦 𝗚𝗹𝘆𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻 🍇 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝗶𝗹 🌾 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝗮𝘁 🥃 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗢𝗶𝗹 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱 I decided to get it because I heard so many good things about it and I was intrigued by the “oil to milk” part of the cleanser since I’ve heard that if you have rosacea, double cleansing may be a little much for your skin, so I’ve been trying to find a great cleanser that I can use instead on some nights. 𝙏𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 It comes out kind of a very pale yellow color, and looks and feels like a balm/ointment/thick gel.
product review negatives
𝙄𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨: I thought my Target store must’ve only had a trial sized version of the product when I saw it in store because the box was so tiny! I went on Cocokind’s official website to check, and nope! There was only 1 size, a 2.9 oz for $18 which is not that “affordable” compared to other cleansers that price. (For example, the Krave Beauty cleanser is $2 cheaper and comes with 4.05 oz!) 𝙎𝙢𝙚𝙡𝙡 I hated the smell. It smelled like rubber or plastic.. just a weird very unenjoyable scent. I understand that this is because they don’t add fragrance in (which is appreciated) but this is really a great example of what the base scent of a formulas raw components naturally smell like. It’s just not something that makes me excited to my face. 𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 I followed the directions on the packaging on how to use it and found them so weird. The product never really felt like an oil or milk so you don’t really see much of a transformation. It doesn’t really foam up at all.. and almost applies like how you would imagine a sunscreen cut w/ water would apply on your face. FINAL THOUGHTS Too small for price, hated the smell, left a lotion-like film on my face that I hated and had to wash my face again to remove.
