Avene is one of my favorite brands, and I've never been disappointed by their products. I've tried several and even the ones I disliked, were still reasonably decent. The cleansing lotion, while not the best out there, still provided me with pleasent results.
It is definitely gentle and easy on my skin, which is a must for my hypersensitivity, rosecea, ezacma, and dryness. I struggle finding products that does strip my skin, cause irritation or redness, and doesn't damage my skin barrier.
I will admit, I was using this product wrong about half way through the extra-large sample I had. I thought it was like a normal cleanser that your rinse off, but you actually are supposed to leave this one. It is great for when you need something lightweight to clean your skin.
Doesn't do a thorough job cleaning your skin, so I don't recommend it if you've worn makeup or sunscreen. It is better to be used for when you need a simplified skincare routine or to use this for a double-cleanse.
It is also a little on the pricey side. It doesn't provide noticeable results if you're looking to remove heavy products from your skin or clear breakouts.
