Retinol by Robanda’s Active Renewal Eye Gel - All of those articles that state you shouldn’t use retinol around your eyes? Yeah, I’ve read them too. Given that I had busted open the Clara’s New York Retinol face serum a few weeks back, I figured I should give it a shot. Purportedly, it battles dark circles and puffiness. There are a lot of ingredients in this one, 26 of which are at least beneficial or better for my skin type. It is refreshing and absorbs quickly, leaving no residue. I suspect there is not a great deal of retinol in the product, as I would expect some faint tingling. But, there is at least some retinol and retinyl palmitate, along with some miscellaneous hydrating agents and antioxidants. According to directions, the user is supposed to use the cooling metal applicator to apply and spread the product, but I find that gross. However, the applicator tip is unusually cool to the touch, but my skin is clean, not sterile, when i use the product. I hope you’re as taken as i was with the product consistency.
