1. This my 1st time using sulfur for acne.
2. Smell isnt as off putting as people have described. Definitely bearable. The ointment feels a bit grainy and doesnt spread easily. Needs slight force.
3. Product size is okay for the price.
4. For the first time, I washed my face,dried it, then applied for 10 min, and washed off. Didnt see much of an effect as I generally use strong ingredients on my face like acids.
5. Following that, I decided to keep it for longer, almost half a day. Put it in the morning, reapply throughout the day, and wash it before bed. I found that works best for me. In a single day, it had dried out most of my annoying whiteheads. They were completely gone. I was very happily surprised.
6. Didnt see much of an effect on my blackheads though. So I would recommend this for active whiteheads.
7. Test it out first and see how your skin tolerates it as it can be quite drying.
All in all, I would say give it a try. Its cheap and it might work wonders for you.
