💙I haven't tried a salicylic acid specific product in a longtime because they were always a bit too harsh and drying, but this product is effective and gentle. The consistency is thin and lightweight so applies and absorbs in the skin easily. It also does not give me dry patches at all (i have relatively normal skin and I definitely need to follow up with moisturizer). I haven't experienced any major breakouts since I started using this, granted, I have been keeping my skincare routine relatively simple. Nonetheless, this product is a HG product. I use this one at night, 2-3x a week. I used the Ordinary niacinamide + zinc 5x a week in the morning only. I really love the affordability of this as well.
The only con is that it comes in an aluminum tube. It is good for protecting the product, but personally it is difficult to travel with as it can get easily punctured. Also difficult to get every last drop out. It has a very light chemical smelling scent but it doesn't linger and you kind of get used to it.
