A 2nd gen upgraded version, the Extreme Cream is an intensive daily moisturiser for dry & sensitive skin. It promises 72 hours of continuous moisturisation & that in itself is such a huge claim! Ingredients wise, it provides additional hydration with 20,000ppm of patented triple ceramide called Omega-Ceramide-16, alongside Hyaluronic Acid. Clinically tested, that means we can expect twice faster recovery effect of our damaged skin barrier within 5 days!
As with all neopharm products, the Extreme Cream is also pH balanced & hypoallergenic, does not contain parabens, mineral oil or artificial fragrances. So I've no qualms applying this over some of the kiddos' dry spots too!
The texture seems stiff when scooped out of the jar using the provided spatula at 1st, but amazingly & quickly melts into skin on application. A little goes a long way with this one, but as I've oily combi skin, I prefer to skip this in the day though. I really love it in my night regimen as the final cream, for both my face & neck. The result is very supple & happy quenched skin by the next morning! I do feel a slight firming effect too but I'd attribute it to its deep hydration effect! It's really soothing & calming after application too!
This tub of gem will last me quite a while, & I'm happily feeding it to my face & neck nightly, & especially on my skin whenever it gets dry, flaky, or irritated, no matter which part of my body!
As I've oily combi skin, I prefer to skip this in the day though. There's also a certain mild fragrance that I couldn't pinpoint though but that's not a deal breaker & still considerably pleasant to me.
