I can't help but say I'm a little underwhelmed with this, or maybe I just had really high hopes? Idk really, it's my first time trying oat on skincare and from what I gathered it's really great for soothing. I unfortunately don't feel that at all. Even the ingredient in here feels like a downplay, it's oat seed water, not extract. So yeah that's why it isn't as soothing as it should, take note.
That aside, I did enjoy this cream whenever I've used it. It's very hydrating(so glad there's no form of HA in here) with that little hint of moisturization, thanks to the squalane. Love this for mornings as I layer it with an emulsion, great combination.
I'm sure there's still some benefit from the oat water to some extent but don't expect crazy soothing as opposed to the true oat extract. Do check this out then if that thing isn't an issue with you and you really want to try oat for your skin. Fungal acne safe so this'll pretty much work all across the board.
