This is my first experience with Calendula ingredients. I use this Kiehls Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol Free Toner product because the skin condition around the neck to the chin has experienced severe eczema. The heat and itching but you can't scratch it is very excruciating and annoying.
Then, I learned that Calendula has soothing and cooling properties for troubled skin. At that time there weren't many skincare products that had Calendula and rare ingredients, so I just bought this Kiehls product. To be honest, it is expensive for the price of a toner, very expensive. So, I used this toner only as an SOS toner and now that this toner is out of stock, I seem to be considering buying it back because I need it.
I use this toner when my skin is having problems with the CSM method or a simple way to do it is to apply a compress (pour the toner on a cotton pad, then let it sit on the problematic skin).
This toner does not completely provide moisture, because it is more visible to soothe and cool the skin when it is problematic (my skin) especially redness of the skin.
This toner has Calendula petals in it. From what I've read, the Calendula petals are added individually by hand (so, don't be surprised if this toner is expensive). It has a strong calendula fragrance, but it doesn't hurt my sense of smell.
The texture of this toner is lightweight., and absorbs quickly.

More and more, I noticed that there are several local Indonesian brands that already have Calendula as the ingredient, and that's interesting. I haven't tried it yet, for sure I will.
