I’m usually not a fan of foaming face washes. They can be a little bit drying to my skin, so i have to be careful when i use them. I’ve had this Elemis face wash for awhile since it was sent to me in a BoxyCharm monthly box and finally gave it a try last month when I had a particularly stubborn batch of hormonal ance. I didn’t change anything else in my routine, just the cleanser.
I have to say, it really does help with my breakouts. This is the second month in a row I’ve used it as soon as I started getting pimples. I only use it in the mornings since I tend to sweat at night and have a lot more grim on my face than in the evenings. It gives me a really deep clean and seems to soothe my skin a little. The irritation from the breakout isn’t nearly as noticible after cleansing.
After a few days, even just from using it once a day, my skin was almost cleared up. That’s a pretty amazing change since it normally takes about a week for my skin to clear up after my periods.
