- Personally, this lipbalm does not irritate my lips when they have intact tissue (not bitten).
- Inexpensive, retails for a few pounds.

- Can leave out a weird sunscreen taste in the mouth, especially when drinking soda.
- If the lips' skin is compromised, this lipbalm can irritate them a bit and make them exfoliate (skin comes out visibly in chunks).
- Low SPF, I personally wear this lipbalm indoors or layered with another lip SPF when outdoors.
- Poor wearability, wears out fast.
- Not resistant when eating or drinking.
- Poor quality plastic cap, it cracks out in time, a recurring issue with these Baby Lips lipbalms (had 3 so far).
- Maybelline conducts tests on animals.
- Quite difficult to find in the UK.
- Not Malassezia ("fungal acne") safe.
