Bakuchiol is a plant-based anti-aging ingredient that works by boosting collagen production. It functions similar to retinol but is less likely to irritate. It is my first time trying bakuchiol, and I am pretty surprised that it is gentle. I even used it together with a prescription retinoid at night and didnโt experience any issues the night after. Five drops is enough to cover my whole face and neck, and it doesnโt leave my face heavy nor sticky.

If your skin canโt handle retinol or you just want to try bakuchiol, then this product is perfect for you. However, I donโt want to rely on it for anti-aging purposes because medical graded retinoids/treatments are more proven than bakuchiol.
But as someone who doesnโt like essential oil as a skincare ingredient, I doubt a bit about this serum. Luckily, I didnโt experience irritation from it. I canโt speak about the long-term effects of this product because I havenโt noticed any changes in my premature wrinkles due to sun damage, but Iโll continue to use it
