Ro's Argan Body Conditioner

product review positives
Since I first came across Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner about nine years ago, it’s been in my bathroom, my suitcase, my gym bag… Containing rose oil, it smells like fresh roses, and it leaves you feeling as silky and soft as a rose petal. The product is applied in the bath or shower and rinsed off. When you see what’s inside of this tub of skin conditioner, you may prefer that the ingredients stay on your skin! I do a quick cold water rinse if I apply too much, but find that being in the shower allows the skin to absorb a great deal and I massage the rest in before drying off. Now for the fun part - what’s inside of this product that makes this so moisturizing? Almond Oil, Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract, Brazil Nut Oil, Vanilla Pod Infusion, Fair Trade Shea Butter, Stearic Acid, Argan oil, Cupuaçu Butter, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Goji Berry Juice, Rose Absolute, Rose Oil, Geranium Oil, Lemon Oil, and Cetearyl Alcohol all serve to condition and hydrate the skin. There are only three ingredients, one of which is water and the other two at the end of the ingredients list, in this product that don’t work toward skin conditioning and hydrating! Only the smallest amount of Ro’s Argan is necessary - all of the amazing butters and oils cause this product to spread easily. The texture is pleasant - thicker than a lotion, but not quite a body butter. It’s pale pink colour is really aesthetically pleasing. You’ll step out of the shower smelling and feeling amazingly spoiled! As a Lush product, we are assured of its animal-friendly status. Next time you want to feel indulgent, this is a strong contender. Lush is always happy to give out samples of its products, in case you want to try before you buy. This pairs perfectly with Lush’s Rose Jam body wash.
product review negatives
Because of the oils and butters in Ro’s Argan, it can make the bathtub slippery. Be careful!
