The consistency is just like water, absorbed almost immediately and did not leave behind any sticky/tacky feeling. It is gentle, non irritating and completely weightless on the skin. My skin felt soft and conditioned. I do like to use this with a cotton pad to cleanse my neck, chest and behind my ears. It definitely got rid of the dirt and grime.
