This is one of The Ordinary’s more well-known products. This is a staple cleanser that’s great for all skin types. It has a silky light-weight balm/cream texture, and it’s lathered it becomes a milky texture.
It contains simple ingredients that do the bare minimum, which is what this cleanser is. This is definitely not a fancy cleanser that will give you transformative results. This is a cleanser I’d recommend for those starting out with skincare, or teenagers. Hormones are all over the place, which can cause the skin to produce more oil. By using a gentle hydrating cleanser, you aren’t stripping the skin from all its moisture and it gently removes oil and impurities. It also has a pH similar to skin’s natural pH level, so it will help balance the amount of oil your skin produces.
This is one of my favourite go-to cleansers, and enjoy using this in the shower. I don’t use this cleanser when I’m wearing heavy makeup, as I prefer using something that helps deep clean the skin. Overall, this is a great cleanser for those starting with skincare and when you are wearing light makeup and SPF and as a second cleanser.
