I was pretty excited for this as it was recommended by Director Pi. She mentioned it a few times and in different videos so I was quite curious to try it.
The product comes with 100ml for just 20,000won so it’s inexpensive and great for those who are looking for a formula to use both on their face and body.
Greentea Cica Sun Lotion has a really nice consistency that I find is easy to spread. It does not leave behind a residue of any sort which I also like. The bottle is not too large so it’s definitely travel-friendly.
The formula washes off easily which is great for those with sensitive skin. It’s soothing and contains ingredients that are not harmful to the skin. One of the reasons I like physical sunscreens is chemical ones tend to bother my skin and sting my eyes. I’m happy to report this physical formula doesn’t irritate my skin or burn my eyes. I can apply it and not have to worry about my skin itching or breaking out.

The white cast might be okay on lighter skin tones but I find that it looks pasty on mine and I’m not even dark. I actually favor white casts in my sunscreens but this one doesn’t really compliment my skin tone, instead it makes my face unnaturally white.
I know this formula is for sensitive skin types so it’s understandable that it washes off so easily. But it comes off so easily that I can’t help but be paranoid about whether this is capable of protecting my skin since sweat seems to melt this right off. With the weather becoming increasingly warmer, it’s hard to reach for this. It’s not exactly reliable. Better to use something that has better adherence and greater longevity.
