Hada Labo Shirojyun Premium Line is specifically focus to give maximum hydration and brightening care to skin. I find this line to be very unique and exciting! It's really hard to find a product that focus not one, but two things that is the HUGE deal in the skincare World especially for skin enthusiast like me. ☺️

This whitening lotion can be used as both, toner (perfect for toner masking I must say) or essence. It comes is a dark blue stand up bottle with a cap (typical Hada Labo toner packaging if you're already familiar). It is indeed travel friendly and easy to be used anytime and anywhere.

The texture has a diluted milky colour that runs and spreads easily on skin. Also it gives a hint of a mild sweet scent which I'm surprised for it does not have any added fragrance. It is very lightweighted, mild tacky and greasy, therefore I recommend this only for those with normal to dry skin including sensitive skin. Oily skin peeps may find it a little bit uncomfortable if applied thick. For me, as I have dry and dehydrated skin, this lotion gives me only a little tackiness and greasiness which I'm fine with.

After using it for sometimes, especially at night, I can say that it gives me moderate hydration but it doesn't last till the next morning if used alone. I always use the lotion before the water gel from the same line for best results. With that method, my skin is kept away from being dry overnight and I woke up having hydrated and glowing skin. The whitening effect is yet to be seen honestly but I'm sure with prolonged used, I may see some miracle soon! ☺️
