This baby is the one and only 3 ingredient cleansing water on the market. Why only three ingredients? Oolo believes that healthy skin starts with a healthy cleansing, and that washing our face with an aggressive cleanser can lead to easily irritated skin. Ingredients include: Water, Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil(jojoba seed), & 1.2-Hexanediol. It's alcohol-Free, Paraben-Free, Silicone-Free, Sulfate-Free, Allergen-Free, Fragrance-Free, Pregnancy-Friendly, & Non-Comedogenic. It comes in a huge bottle (400 ml), and also comes with a huge price. It retails for $108.. Yes, 1 0 8. 🤯 It has a pump top dispenser, like the Bliss What A Melon Toner. The design of the bottle is really beautiful and has iridescent writing all over, which is very aesthetically pleasing. This cleansing water has the same consistency as water with a slightly oily feel, so it has some slip. Despite the slight oily consistency, it leaves no oily residue behind and has no detectable scent. It doesn't contain a surfectant which is what really makes for a deep clean, so I wasn't sure how well this product would actually work. I tested it on a few different lipstick formulations and while it did remove all traces, it took a while to do so, which can end up irritating the skin and causing redness. While it is adequate at removing makeup it's not good enough to replace a second cleanse, so be aware of that as well. If it took away the need for a second cleanse, then I'd consider the price more reasonable. This will last me quite a while considering the more than generous size, so that is another plus to this product. I really appreciate the small ingredient list and love the concept, but I can't justify the hefty price tag. If you're more of a splurge worthy type and want the experience of a luxury, skin healthy cleansing, then I feel you would really enjoy this product! It's not a bad product whatsoever, it's just way over-priced.
