Β° It is actually my first time to try a chemical exfoliator cream. It contains 8% of AHA and BHA. Given that my skin is oily and easily sensitized, I have experienced purging when I used this (I am not used to the higher percentage of it yet).
According to my research, purging is normal when you're using a new skincare most specially if it contains exfoliator in the formula. It says that you need to be consistent using the product for your skin to be familiar with it (Please, educate me if I am wrong as I am new to this π
) So I am still using it 2 to 3 times week as a spot treatment. (I love that the ampoule I received with this contradicts the purging. Such a saviour!)
The packaging looks luxurious with a golden touch, it comes with a spatula which is a plus for hygienic purposes. The creamy texture looks thick and yet it felt lightweight that absorbs well into skin and leaves no greasiness when settled.
The only thing that I dislike is the fragrance. It overwhelmed me when I thickly layered it, I had to dealt with it for few minutes (glad that it dissipates). Maybe it can be reformulated with a milder one? π
My solution is to use this as a spot treatment instead.
It works great as it fades my hyperpigmentation and unclogged my pore impurities.
If a higher percentage of AHA and fragrance are something you can tolerate, I would recommend this! Β°
