This is not a hydrating serum. The hydration was temporary and my skin felt tight after 2-3 hours. However, my skin did not look oily or shiny by the end of the day. So, it is a good balancing serum and it best suited for oily skin types, during the warmer months and even underneath a face mask.
I’ve been experiencing hot, red and flushed cheeks from wearing a face mask all day. I noticed that this serum helped to soothe the redness and cool down heated skin. The serum slightly reduced the redness from small inflamed pimples but the progress was slow. I do like how gentle and comfortable this felt on my skin. Not irritating at all.
Overall, this is an average serum and sort of underwhelming because there is nothing special about it. I know tea tree can either be a hit or miss. For me, it is the only essential oil I feel comfortable using. However, I feel like tea tree is such a boring and overused skincare ingredient
