I really like the minimal ingredient lists. There is a total of 13 ingredients. The consistency is reminds me of a light fluffy cloud. This is not a thick or dense type of foam cleanser. Once you start to work it onto your skin, the consistency becomes more watery. It has very light and subtle rose scent. It was almost undetectable and the scent goes away almost immediately.
It worked great as a second cleanser. It removed all the oils and residue that was left over from the first cleanse. Despite containing witch hazel and alcohol, my skin did not feel stripped or dry. It definitely did not cause that uncomfortable squeaky clean. My skin did feel a little tight afterwards but, it is the same level of tightness as if I was to use a low PH gel cleanser.
