Light and watery consistency with a nice slip. Initially it felt a little ‘oily’ and ‘slippery’ but once it starts to absorb into your skin, it turns into a more watery consistency. The essence absorbed well, subtle dewy finish and did not leave behind any sticky/tacking feeling either. There was a noticeable plumping effect, bouncy and supple looking skin. I really appreciate how this essence penetrates deeply into the skin. It is hydrating and nourishing. Perfect for combination and dehydrated skin types. I only need to use one to two light layers as a little goes a long way. My skin never felt tight or dehydrated.
