Product Claims: "A fragrance-free hydrating face mask with 10.5% squalane for dry skin that locks in moisture overnight and strengthens skin’s moisture barrier."
My Thoughts 💭
• Packaging
- Simple and straight to the point. I love that the words "overnight", "rehydrating", and "mask" are in big capitalized letters in front. This immediately tells me what the product is for without any issues.
• Effectiveness
- It works! My face feels so soft and supple in the morning.
• Price and Availability
- At $40 for a 3.4 fl. oz., I think this is fair. I truly believe it's effective and you get a lot for the price. Plus, considering that you're gonna use this as desired or up to 3x a week, it will last longer. Available at Sephora in store and online so you should be able to get it easily.
Will I repurchase? It's gonna take me a minute to go through this jar but when I do, I probably won't because of the texture and the smell but I will still recommend it to a friend if they can get past those.
• Scent
- Product claim is true here, with no scent/fragrance. BUT there is a smell. It smells like PLASTIC to me. I normally wouldn't mind but with the instructions of the product, you're meant to leave it on overnight so it bothered me. Good thing the use for this is up to 3x a week or as needed cause I don't think I'll be able to use it daily. If I need extra moisture, I will grab this for sure.
• Texture and Application
- It does say "balm-to-oil" texture which I think is true. It's thick and reminds me of WAX. Once I work it over my face, it does turn into that oil and does not leave any white residue.
