This mask intensely hydrates to seal in moisture overnight. It is formulated for all skin steps—including dry, flakey, and sensitive skin. The mask is designed to strengthen + stabilize the skin barrier and prevent moisture loss overnight. It has a unique balm to oil formula, and contains 10.5% Squalane.
•What is Squalane?•
Squalane is an increasingly popular hero ingredient that “It mimics your skin’s natural oils, making it an excellent emollient. It’s also a natural antioxidant and has antitumor properties, protecting your skin from carcinogens.”
•Results•
This is an excellent mask. The balm to oil formula is a little shocking if you are not expecting it. I took a small amount between my fingers to allow it to soften a bit before applying to my face. It melted into my skin easily. My skin felt moisturized without the heavy feeling you expect from some leave on masks. I have been dealing with a lot of dryness lately, which is actually totally new for me. I received this product just in time, as my face had recently started flaking and it was almost the week of Christmas. I used this mask three times over the course of the last week, and I am thrilled with the results. After the very first use the flaking was completely •gone• and I woke up to happy and healthy-looking skin! Repeated use and found no clogged pores or reactions.
•Verdict•
My skin loves this—I am extremely satisfied with my results so far and I will definitely be purchasing this when my jar is finished. The jar itself is a very generous quantity and only a small amount is needed each use due to the balm to oil formula and the consistency of the mask
