It looks simple yet promising on my bathroom counter. It has a greyish coloured texture, creamy and kinda gel-like. It gives a hint of body-soap scent (mildly sweet). . I only need a tiny amount to work up a good lather of foam which is so soft and it spreads gently on skin. This cleanser is best used with a cleansing tool to wash off make-up and sunscreen. I love it so much since it does not dry out skin. . Regarding acne control, I'm sure good cleansers with correct cleansing method do play a role to reduce skin blemishes. This cleanser is one of them. I like to use it day and night together with the other Mentholatum Acne Line to get the maximum effect to fighting off acnes and blemishes.
