The surfactants used in this gel cleanser are so gentle and the pH is slightly acidic so it's perfect for sensitive skin. I can't smell any added fragrance or essential oils in this formula either. Personally, I have normal skin and it doesn't leave my face squeaky clean.
This cleanser has a syrupy texture that runs a lot so be careful not to dispense too much product. You can make a gentle lather so it still gives a satisfying feeling to your cleanse.
If you're wearing makeup, I recommend using a cleansing balm/oil first, otherwise you will use up a lot of product. And I do mean, a lot.
I still feel a bit stripped if I don't use any skincare after. Still, it's better than some cleansers in that regard.
