Mella uses plant-derived melatonin to help boost your body’s natural repair cycle and help you get better sleep by restoring your circadian rhythm. Turns out melatonin can be either ingested, or absorbed through the skin to achieve the same results. As a topical treatment it supports skin barrier function, reverses the signs of premature aging and protects your skin against environmental stressors including blue light, pollution, and oxidants.
This melatonin-infused, water-activated 3-in-1 creamy cleanser + exfoliator + mask is really interesting. You get a bottle of fine white powder that doesn't take up much storage space and can be customized for three different functions depending on how much water you add in when you’re ready to use it: add just a tiny bit of water to turn it into thick paste and use it as a very gentle exfoliator, add just a bit more water to turn it into thiner paste and spread it on your skin to use it as a mask that dries in about 3 to 5 minutes and gives you a nice tightening sensation, or add more water and rub your hands together to turn it into white foam to use it as a cleanser. Aside from melatonin it contains Prebiotic Kiwi Enzyme providing protective antioxidants, Natural microscopic sponges to maximize bioavailability and absorption to help deliver the perfect dosage of melatonin every time and Kaolin to purify the pores, remove excess oil, balance sebum and polish the skin.
As cute as those cutouts in the cap are, I really wish it would close tighter, or use some kind of a seal since the product just seeps through and contents of my entire package arrived covered in a coating of white powder.
