🌞 This is an SPF50 PA++++ sunscreen formulated with plant-derived "fermented Inca Inchi oil" and claims to have no white cast and a non-sticky, refreshing texture.
🌞 I purchased this as part of the brand kit and was looking forward to this product the most so I took it with me to the beach to test out.
🌞 High SPF and PA rating
🌞 It’s a thick white cream, and I must say I don’t get how you can apply an adequate amount without getting any white cast, unless maybe you’re Casper? I’ve repeatedly tried my hardest to blend this in but it takes so much effort and the white cast really doesn’t go away. It does feel cool on the skin, but it has a tacky finish (read: sand trap). If you put a tiny dot on it does dry down demi matte but again, if you apply the standard amount on your face it’s just a losing battle with the tackiness.
🌞 I would not use this for an everyday sunscreen, it’s just too much effort, and you can forget about makeup going on top of this too. I’d probably finish this off for swimming (preferrably for the pool where I won’t end up encrusted in sand).
🌞 A bit disappointed as even though it has a high spf rating (verified, too) it’s a pain to apply and it had very specific claims it doesn’t quite fulfill. I do hope they revisit the formula based on the feedback on the product.
