Packaging: Lighter moisturizers belong in pump bottles! This one is made of glass and the pump also has a plastic lid to keep it clean. Each pump squeeze dispenses about half of the amount I need. Two full pumps are required to cover my entire face. And I haven’t experienced any pump malfunctions or jamming in the 2+ months I’ve been using this.
Experience: The Rose Radiant Moisturizer is of the gel-cream persuasion. It has this airy-light, almost whipped consistency that spreads easily across the skin with the lightest touch, sans drag. Said consistency actually makes the application process itself… well, pleasurable. And the moisturizer is fully absorbed by the skin in about 30 seconds. No stickiness, no greasiness, no tackiness. Emphasis on the last part, since light moisturizers usually leave a hint of tackiness at the end, but this one just doesn’t have it. So feel free to slap on moisturizer or sunscreen afterwards as this will certainly not add any thickness to your skincare layers!
Scent: The scent I’m getting from this is classic rose essential oil. As with the matching Low pH Rose Radiant Cleanser, it doesn’t register as particularly sweet or fruity. More like herbal and fresh, so it doesn’t come across as cloying.
Niacinamide? Cica? Gel formula? This has all the makings of a moisturizer geared towards oily skin types. On my dry skin, the instant absorption and niacinamide content means I benefit the most when using this as a serum step rather than the final moisturizer. The hydration level I get is light and, since I have flake-prone skin, I’m not able to use this alone.
