This moisturizer has an airy, light cream texture that when applied onto the skin immediately and seamlessly melts into this instant burst of hydration. I was expecting it to be a bit more occlusive than I anticipated, although it's not an issue for me as this cream is just so easy to glide onto the skin. It also absorbs pretty fast, and it does not feel too heavy on my skin. What I like to do is actually apply 2 layers of this moisturizer at night time so I really use a lot of this.
For its barrier-repairing capabilities, I'd say its more on the moderate level as it's still more lightweight than barrier creams I'm used to. I'd also like to note that I too use this in the AM but just do a thin layer since I already have other hydrating products on my routine as well.
