💸 This 50ml cream retails for almost Php 1300 / USD 26 on Shopee
Key Ingredients:
- Niacinamide

The product has a white, opaque texture, similar to the consistency of certain physical sunscreens.
Despite the product having fragrance, it doesn't bother me, the smell is giving me ✨rich✨ vibes (sweet & floral).
The "tone-up" effect is manageable on my skintone, just as if I applied a decent physical sunscreen. It doesn't feel heavy at all though. It gives a satin, silky finish on the skin.
This is my second time to use a tone-up cream in my whole lifetime (lol) so here are my thoughts!
Some methods I tested out:
1. Application of tone-up cream after toner, moisturizer: I dispense about 1-2 pumps of the product. Goes on smoothly, no pilling whatsoever. Takes some time to blend in but manageable.
2. Application of tone-up cream after toner, moisturizer + a dewy sunscreen: tends to pill and just "moves around", kind of difficult to blend in evenly. However, I think gel-type sunscreens would be perfect to go underneath this product. Any product that's dewy or has a bit of oily slick to it will lead to uneven application of the tone-up cream.
3. Application of product by itself (after washing face, no skincare): clings onto dry patches
Other points:
- Not water-resistant
- Accentuates dry patches/areas if you don't moisturize/hydrate properly (see photos for reference)
For my final thoughts, I think it's still alright, though I find it quite a hassle since I have to avoid certain products for this just to go on smoothly. Also, if you sweat a lot, it will create an uneven look on the skin. I haven't had the chance to try it out underneath a skin tint since it also serves as a primer for makeup.
