Madagascar Centella Tone Brightening Capsule Ampoule

product review positives
I received this product for free from Picky and SKIN1004 in exchange for my honest review. @go.picky @pickyrewards @skin1004official Skin1004’s signature ingredient Centella Asiatica, found in Madagascar preserving 200 years of untouched nature. Major Ingredients and benefits: 🌟Strong calming care 🌟Contains 77% Centella Asiatica extract 🌟Contains 4% Niacinamide 🌟Tranexamic acid 🌟Made White™ beads 🌟Fast absorbing 🌟Brightening 🌟Fragrance free How to apply: Apply directly on face after cleansing, and toner. Pat gently till absorbed. Follow with moisturizer. My skin type: Mature skin (40s) Easily dehydrated, sensitive, combination skin that is also acne prone. My experience: I am very grateful to receive this ampoule from Picky and Skin1004. I absolutely love Skin1004's Madagascar Centella Asiatica Ampoule, so I was stoked to try this Brightening Ampoule as it has many wonderful ingredients.
product review negatives
Unfortunately, my skin did not react well with the product. I used this ampoule for one week (morning and night), as my serum step. First night while using this ampoule, I noticed that my skin felt less hydrated and slightly more tight. After that, I patted in more layers of toner to give my skin my hydration before applying this ampoule. By day three or so, I noticed a few small red bumps on my skin -- I have acne prone skin but with using Adapalene, any clogged pore only lasts a day or two). By day 7, I had to stop using this ampoule as I noticed I was getting more and more bumps and they were not going away. My only conclusion is that my skin do not like "higher" percentage of Niacinamide -- this ampoule has 4% but my skin has also done well at 2% (my skin broke out terribly when I used a product with 10% Niacinamide before!). I gave this ampoule to my friend and she really enjoys it.
