I am reviewing the much talked about @neutrogena.india brightening cleansing oil with mulberry extract.
🦋This is a part of the double cleansing routine I.e first cleanse with an oil/ cleansing balm/ micellar water and second cleanse with any gentle face cleanser.
🦋I am double cleansing since 6 months.
🦋double cleansing will ensure effective removal of waterproof makeup, dirt,pollutants and also sunscreen.
🦋the difference I have observed personally is that my skin is less prone to acne and breakouts.
🦋I prefer cleansing oil over cleansing balms since balms tend to produce an oily layer on top of skin which was lil difficult to wash off.
🦋also the friction it caused while rubbing the balm was uncomfortable for me.
What I liked about cleansing oil
🧡a pump or max 2 is required so little goes a long way.
🧡it's so easy to spread and massage.
🧡takes away makeup sunscreen dirt with much ease.
🧡easy to wash off.
🧡emulsifies into a white liquid which can be easily washed.
🧡fuss free second cleansing.
🧡leaves the skin refreshed and clean.
🧡can't comment about the brightening effect .
Points to look out
🔼this contains mineral oil as second ingredient
🔼has a mild fragrance which may not be liked by some.
🔼contains parabens.
