Glow-Key Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream

product review positives
It comes with a genius applicator with a cooling metal ball on one side to help depuffing. Love this idea. So thoughtful and cute... The consistency is rather thick, but it melts like butter when you pat it in and a little goes a long way. I also use it on other parts of my face (around the lips and smile lines). Due to the slightly iridescent, light pink color it has an immediate brightening effect, but the ingredients can help with that in the long run, too. Highlights of the formulation are: 💚Niacinamide (brightening, moisture retention soldier and anti redness queen, among other things) 💕Vitamin C, E and B12 (powerful antioxidants, help collagen production, hold fine lines back, brighten and support your SPF) 💚Titanium Dioxide (UV filter, but I wouldn't rely on this alone, please use your sunscreen in the eye area as well) 💕Green Tea Extract (depuffing, antioxidants galore) 💚Butylene Glycol, HA and Glycerin (as humectants) 💕Squalane, Palmitoyl Tri-Peptide, Adenosine (wellaging rockstars) 💚Coffee, Guava, Cocoa and several more plant extracts (to depuff, moisturize and add to the antioxidant power) 👀 It's vegan/cruelty free, no silicones or parabens were added, but it contains fragrance. My eyes haven't reacted to it though. So far (I made a heart-shaped dent, see?!) so good. I'm using it mainly for the sensory experience, I'm not expecting wonders. My 41 year old eye area seems to be very relaxed when using it though and I really enjoy applying it and then smooth things over with that metal ball thingy. It sinks in nicely, no oily layer remains on the skin, it even works well as a primer for those drier concealers... but in the evening you can spread it a bit more generously, at least that's what I tend to do. 😁
product review negatives
The fragrance might be sensitizing to some. Other that that, there's nothing bad to say about this...
