For todays product review, we’ll be going over the Tatcha : Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil. 💧🌸
This is the second bottle of this cleanser I’ve completely emptied! (The first bottle being years back, before I even knew how to oil cleanse. 😂)
This is a very effective product to breakup sunscreen and presumably makeup as well. While this lovely oil is on your dry skin, adding just a drop of water makes the product emulsify very effectively with minimal effort required, therefore allowing this product to rinse off of your skin with ease. If you had quite dry skin this could potentially be a one step cleanser by itself, however - most users would likely benefit from following up with their regular cleanser afterwards.
I don’t find it leaves my skin feeling oily but, it’s just my instincts that tell me to follow up with a non oil cleanser.
This is more of a sensorial, feel good product with the high-end Tatcha price point, it’s elegant smell and very luxurious feeling.
However, I do believe anyone whether it’s someone who’s never used an oil cleanser before or an experienced skincare product tester; both users may equally enjoy this product.
I find a few pumps goes a long way. I’m able to really massage my skin and breakup any sunscreen without having to apply more oil (it doesn’t dry up or absorb into your skin, you know?)
I’m a sucker for Tatcha so maybe I’m bias, however up until now this has been one of my all time favourite Oil Cleansers ; for reviews sake I will be moving on to alternative options and forming some opinions 🤔

- Hadasei-3 (Tatcha’s proprietary complex of Rice, Green Tea and Algae : Amino Acids and AHA’s (lactin acid) from double fermentation.
This formula has fifteen ingredients in total, it’s nice to note its simplicity.
