It was reformulated and now contains 79% maple tree sap with no alcohol. This essence toner has a moderate floral scent which was unexpected with its high maple tree sap content. It has a viscous texture, a little thicker than water. It comes in a beautiful glass vail with a platic cap. This essence toner aborbs quickly with a slight drag during applicaton. It leaves my dry skin hydrated and plump without feeling heavy or sticky. It imparts a glow and leaves my skin feeling softer and smoother and overall healthier. It's great for all skin types looking for a hydration boost.
