So I really like this mask but I’m also a bit disappointed. Let me explain😅
I accidentally scratched my face while cleansing (I-😂🤷🏽♀️) & it left a red mark. After 20 minutes of this mask, the redness significantly reduced & was barely noticeable🤩. This mask is great to have & use for a pick me up during the week & to calm down redness, BUT it didn’t do well when my skin was irritated🥲. It burned & stung the irritation . To be fair, it does say on the instructions to not use on irritated skin so that was my bad. On the flip side-I don’t understand then, with the above mentioned how it’s marketed to “alleviate irritated, sensitive skin” yet it says not to use it on irritated skin🤨(Is it just me?)
Regardless, I genuinely enjoy this mask, but I really hoped I could have used it under any skin condition. Maybe if the EO were omitted it would be different🤷🏽♀️. All in all-It feels really good on healthy skin(cooling & calming & relaxes my skin). It didn’t irritate my healthy skin/strip my skin when I rinsed the product off. It rinses well (no residue) & my skin feels soft, refreshed & brighter. I really like this mask but it’s a pity I personally can’t use it to calm irritation🥺
