It wasn't able to remove waterproof mascara. It only removes makeup and sunscreen so you have to follow up with a cleanser to fully clean the face. 

It is my first time trying a micellar cleanser in gel form so I did not know what to expect but the overall experience with this product is great. I use this as the first step in double cleansing. It effectively removed water resistant sunscreen and makeup. It does not have any strong fragrance. I also did not have any bad reactions on my skin while using this so would repurchase this in the future.
