We had a boom in local skincare products last year and Ashen is one of those brands that I really adore. Though they only have 2 products at the moment, those 2 are really great even for sensitive skin like mine! Good formulations can be quite pricey but Ashen have made sure that their products are affordable yet high quality. I've been testing these serums for 2 mos. now and here are my final thoughts:

š½š²šæš¶š²š»š°š² š®š»š± š§šµš¼šš“šµšš: You know how much I avoid vitamin Cs in general. They just make my skin more sensitive no matter what the concentration is. This serum isn't an exception. It features 15% vitamin C derivative šš“š¤š°š³š£šŗš šš¦šµš³š¢šŖš“š°š±š¢šš®šŖšµš¢šµš¦ so it won't oxidize quickly. The texture is milky yet lightweight. There's a bit of tingling sensation but it didn't last long. This is the first ever vit. C product that didn't break me out. However, it made my skin extra sensitive. Some products sting (when it's not supposed to do that), occasional itching, and random red patches. It lightened some of my dark spots but I can't bring myself to use something that's continuously wrecking my skin barrier when there are obviously better alternatives out there. I guess vit. C is really not for me. š¤·
