With a name like Noble Rot--of course you feel a bit intimidated about putting it on your skin but fear not, the name simply means 'red' in many different languages. It's quite fitting considering the translucent reddish brown liquid that makes up this product. If you really think about it, this lifting essence is like wine for the skin.
The liquid absorbs well, soaks into the skin with a slight tackiness left behind. Truly, it's ideal for my dry, dehydrated, sensitive skin type because this provides a barrier that keeps my skin from having any major flair ups.
The toner, that's basically what this is, is thicker than most toners. Borderlining on a lightweight serum, this glides on smooth and creates a very soft, supple foundation to prep the skin for the rest of your products/cosmetics. It causes no reactions or irritations, I like to use this before bed but this can definitely be used in both AM & PM. A little is all you'll need and in such a large bottle, so it will last a long time before a need to repurchase.
