Origin Red Salicylic Acid Serum

product review positives
🍎 | Picky x Nacific's Origin Red Salicylic Acid Set Review | 🍎 I received this product for free from Picky and Nacific in exchange of my honest review. 🍎 | What It Is? | 🍎 - contains exfoliating components to remove dead skin cells and help soothes skin problems by calming them down - AHA-Lactic Acid + BHA-Salicylic Acid (1,000 ppm) + PHA-Gluconolactone - Eoseongcho (Yakchomil) Extract: The sedative ingredient extracted from Yakchomil helps soothe angry skin - DERMA-CLERAβ„’: It is a truly patented ingredient derived from the extract of white rice and helps skin sensitive from external threads 🍎 | Recommendation | 🍎 Personally felt this product is set towards people with oily, acne-prone and normal skin. This can be drying for people with dry to sensitive skin.
product review negatives
Thank you @go.picky, @pickyrewards and @nacific_official for giving me this opportunity to try on these wonderful products. Unfortunately, these products did not work for my skin type, stripped my skin barrier and within one week, I broke out in several areas which is really rare. Due to the products containing salicylic acid (BHA), I think layering them on top of another triggered that. That whole process of over-exfoliating the skin is NOT recommended for people with dry to sensitive skin. If you are my skin type (dry & sensitive), do not layer them on. 🍎 | What Didn't Work? | 🍎 Personally, I would avoid the serum because of how heavy it made my skin feel. It was sticky and felt like someone threw sticky glue on my face. I definitely broke out the next day and my skin barrier was affected. The serum claims to be hydrating, however I felt it was far for my skin. I didn't feel any hydrating properties from the product. I tried reducing it from 4x time a week to 2x a week at night but it only seemed to trigger my skin even more.
