This product claim to be perfect gentle exfoliation and hydration in one for dry skin. My skin don’t know things like exfoliation that won’t dry out. Chemical exfoliants were always drying my skin.
When I first apply it, it felt wonderful. Just like honey! I loved the feeling, it was a little bit tingly, but also my skin felt comfortable underneath. I wash it out after 12 minutes - less than recommended 15 minutes but I didn’t want to overwhelm my skin - when I wash it out my skin was glowy, but felt a little bit drier. I just thought it’s another chemical exfoliant that is not for me - even is PHA are really gentle. My skin is really sensitive, especially right now. It didn’t felt bad, itchy or burning - just bit more dry.
I kept on with my day, and I think I felt real effect after I double cleanse in morning - so when I polish my skin a bit from the outer layer of dead skin - it felt so good! My skin was definitely softer, hydrated and less irritated. I used products I know during cleansing so I’m sure, it’s not their job.
Today, so next morning, my skin didn’t feel so dehydrated and dry after nighttime - PHA are doing their job still! It was just one use, I will definitely see more results after few uses.
