Hedera Helix Relaxing Cream

product review positives
I received the Milk Touch Hedera Helix Relaxing Cream through 0.8l at a discounted price of $3.99 in exchange for my honest review. This is a new brand for me and is described as a hypoallergenic skin calming moisturizer for sensitive or irritated skin. Claims: ▪️Powerful soothing effect ▪️Relieves redness ▪️Moisturizes dry, dull or flaky skin ▪️Improves skin elasticity & diminishes wrinkles Key Ingredients: ▪️Glycerin ▪️Niacinamide ▪️Hedera Helix (Ivy) Extract ▪️Centella Asiatica Extract ▪️Rosemary Leaf Extract ▪️Adenosine ▪️Hyaluronic Acid Packaging and texture: ▪️50ml green plastic jar with screw top lid ▪️Comes with plastic spatula ▪️Lightweight water gel consistency, cream (off white) color, light scent My Experience: I was interested in trying this cream since one of the main ingredients is Ivy Extract that I don’t recall seeing in skincare products before. It is said that it relieves irritation from various skin conditions while hydrating the skin. The texture is more like a gel cream and it feels a little sticky on the skin, but without a tacky feel. I can’t really describe well, but it is like a silky coating on the skin as it absorbs. I used it both AM and PM and it layers well with other products without pilling. My skin looks soft and feels very hydrated. It really helps with redness and works great on any patchy areas. I didn’t see any changes to existing wrinkles but I enjoyed using this.
product review negatives
I liked it and experienced no irritation but according to Paula’s Choice Ingredient Dictionary it mentions that ivy extract could be sensitizing as it has astringent properties.
