{ NACIFIC } Origin Red Salicylic Acid Serum “I received this product for free from Picky and Nacific in exchange for my honest review.” ❤️ CLAIMS • Contains complex peeling ingredients that gently makes the skin smoother and removes dead skin cells without irritation. 🔑 INGREDIENTS • DERMA-CLERA™ A soothing patented ingredient derived from Cynanchum Atratum Extract to help protect sensitive skin. • Houttuynia Cordata A soothing ingredient extracted from Wheat Bran helps to sootheeasily irritated skin. • BHA, AHA, PHA 💬 MY EXPERIENCE • Just like the SA Toner from this line, the packaging is very impressive and hygienic. Sleek semi opaque bottle with easy to contol dropper for product application. • The serum has a significant viscosity but non sticky which makes it easy to evenly spread it on my face. I have tried other wash off masks that are very sticky. • This is a WASH OFF Serum and supposed to be left for 1 minute only then rinse. I made a mistake of not following that bc I didn't feel any tingling sensation so I thought it will be ok. I guess that’s how "mild" it is? When I left it close to 10 mins, I felt like my face looked dull and just not "bright" the following day. No glow or whatsoever. I gave it another try after a week and followed the proper instructions and I did not encounter any issues. Whew! 😅 • Even though I left it longer than recommended the first try, I did not have any redness or obvious damaged skin. But I can tell that my skin was just not healthy looking. So don’t make the same mistakes that I did!🚫 • This serum helped calm down my pesky hormonal breakouts esp along with my now favorite Nacific Spot Treatment (which I reviewed separately). It is mainly created to treat problematic skin/acne. Please also note that I only get hormonal acne once a month (2-3 pimples would pop out).
