These two products work but omg the pilling… Both are very silicone heavy. The Vitamin C on the left works like bleach. It instantly brightens and lightens my skin tone by at least one shade. It has a mild tingling effect like other strong vitamin C products but did not seem to irritate my sensitive redness-prone skin. The brightening effect seems to stay on even after washing the product off. I’ve tried putting this on before and after other skincare/makeup products but it pills no matter what. I will probably use it as a 30min mask moving forward. It does not contain water (silicone-based), hence it does not oxidise and no refrigeration is needed. It can last 12months after opening at room temperature! I hope I can find a similar product that does not pill. Water-based vitamin C does not seem to work for me.
