I love the packaging, a weighty glass container with a cap in the neck & l-shaped dropper to minimise spills. Overall it feels & looks like a high end product but at a very reasonable price. The texture is light, & despite looking thick it feels almost watery, with the actives encapsulated in little balls that are visible to the eye. I enjoyed how the balls quickly burst as I started working the product into my skin. Initially I was worried as the product left a slight tacky feeling on my face, but it quickly faded as it absorbed & left me looking dewy, which is my preference. I didn’t notice much scent other than a mild earthy note; personally I don’t mind fragrance as long as it isn’t drying, but I know this will be a plus for many. The ampoule is excellent at providing me with hydration, I love how plump & refreshed my skin looks after using it. I’ve had no redness or irritation, though admittedly my skin is fairly resilient. Its also played very nicely with the other products in my routine & my makeup, so I’ve not had any pilling ect. I’m only a couple weeks in but I’m starting to notice a little brightening effect, so I’m confident once I’ve used it for a sustained period I’ll probably see some improvement in my hyperpigmentation.
Honestly, I don’t have any negatives in regards to this product. If I really had to nitpick then I would say the packaging isn’t great to travel with. Also, my normal to dry leaning skin is perfect for the thicker, hydrating finish of this product, but maybe this wouldn’t be a preference for those with oiler skin.
