This product is great. It fills a gap in the skincare industry. This is meant to provide hydration before you moisturize — since the purpose of moisturizers is to lock down hydration and since most people dry themselves with a towel (therefore getting rid of most of the water on their skin) before applying any body products, this definitely adds something to the market. As someone who will never moisturize while their skin is still wet like some dermatologists recommend, I love the idea of hydrating body serums.
What I liked the most about this product is the quick-absorbing texture. It sinks in within seconds after application. Nobody wants to stand around naked for ages waiting for a serum to properly set before moisturizing, so this is a major plus. I also appreciate the barrier-supportive ingredients niacinamide and ceramide NP included in the formula.
For a body product, the bottle doesn’t contain enough product. If you use it after every shower, you’ll run out in like two or three weeks. Given how expensive this product is, it’s not something most people can repurchase consistently.
