This Gel Cream is as the name and description suggests - a very light moisturizer. It plumps the skin and provides a boost of hydration, but does not contain a lot of the emollience you might find in heavier creams. I would say it's much more so a gel than a cream, if that helps give you an idea.
This gel cream suits my needs in some ways. I could see myself using it in the high heat of summer and I do quite like how plumped my skin feels after use. Generally, however, I have quite dry skin and seek out a more oily-feeling moisturizer.
I can see this moisturizer working best for people with oily or acne-prone skin.
This product does contain a scent though it is not overpowering. Though I have acne-prone skin, I did not notice any irritation from this product but do make note of the scent for those who are particularly sensitive to such things.
