Key Ingredients: - Colloidal Oatmeal soothes/calms irritated skin and visibly reduces redness - Madecassoside nourishes and supports irritated and damaged skin - Ceramide replenishes and supports the skins natural moisture barrier Texture/Scent: - Buttery, cream-like texture. No fragrance, has a slight scent from the ingredients. Buttery is the main word I would use to describe this mask. The mask reminds me of a stick of butter that I leave on the counter before baking that has melted to a soft state but oh so creamy! It glides across the skin effortlessly and sinks in nicely and rather quickly. I love that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily or tacky after it has absorbed. This mask hydrates so well, better than other well known sleeping masks, and it lasts throughout the night or day. When my skin is irritated this mask is one I’ll pull out because of how well it calms my irritation and visibly reduces my redness overnight. It’s even helped calm and heal my eczema flare ups I’ve had around my eyes and cheeks the past year. It works great as a quick mask for hydration or an overnight mask. If I need a quick pick me up in hydration before leaving the house I’ll leave on for 20-30 minutes then rinse. When I use as an overnight mask with my regular routine it pills horribly. I have found it works best when I use on damp skin after a toner or essence. If you have dry, sensitive, damaged skin then this mask is definitely worth a try.
