I was really excited about trying my first ever Korean essence sunscreen. Korean sunscreens tend to be lighter in consistency, combining both skincare and sun protection; making this hybrid product highly popular. With numerous options available, I’m on a mission to find the perfect K Beauty sunscreen to suit my skin!
So let me tell you what I did really like about this product otherwise.
I loved how lightweight this product felt on my face initially, it didn’t leave a heavy white cast unlike some other sunscreens I’ve tested and it didn’t feel sticky/greasy. The texture is really lovely, smooth and silky. I love the pearly pink shade of this sunscreen, once you start massaging the product into your skin it becomes translucent and glowy.

It was very unfortunate that this product did not agree with my skin. I must have developed some sensitivity to one or more of the ingredients. I do often question whether my diet over the last few years has effected my skin sensitivity. I’ve had to cut out a lot, for my little ones sake due to intolerances. Undeniably from doing some research online, it has been suggested that one of the most crucial factors in skincare quality; is affected by what we eat. I’m gutted I cant use it.
